Here’s PJ’s baby book from Shutterfly–I didn’t use one particular theme overall really, instead I relied heavily on the storytelling style and using a bunch of different backgrounds and embellishments.
I knew basically immediately that none of the baby books on the market were a good fit for us–partly because I wasn’t the type to keep up with monthly pictures (though sometimes I wish I was), partly because I’m not much for pasting in pictures and writing answers in, but mostly because I wanted to personalize the information in it.
Once again, my lovely friend over on Love, Tahimi took her newborn pictures (above).
Here’s the first spread with all of her birth stats, footprints, and scans of the chart we kept of her diaper changes and nursing schedule.
Now, while I didn’t take monthly pictures, I did keep track of her weight, sleep patterns, diet, milestones, her likes, and nicknames she acquired within the month.
Once again, my lovely friend from Love, Tahimi took her pictures for her birthday (and these I intend to duplicate every year–blue jeans, white shirt, and flower crown–along with a questionnaire that I’ll put in her next photo book).
I ended it all with a run through of her from day one to day 365–which will be the perfect lead in to her next photo book (coming August 2017).
